It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas

At least it’s going to once the tree is up!

I’ve been looking forward to this weekend. Tonight, the tree goes up; and tomorrow, the outside lights and indoor decorations come out. I seriously cannot wait, because this is the stuff that I look forward to! Everyone knows that once it starts to look like Christmas, it starts to feel more like Christmas.

Now all I need is some snow, and Michael Bublé and Josh Groban playing everywhere I go…but let me not jinx it and make all the people that “hate” snow and the cold so angry. (But come on now, people. If you hated it so much, you would have made a move to a Southern state years ago. You can’t really complain if you continue to stay in the Northeast, where the weather changes every five minutes. The cold and snow will happen. It’s guaranteed; get over it or get out.)

And now that I’ve passive aggressively subbed every friend and family member that I have, my day is officially complete. (But it actually isn’t because I’m still at work. You can’t see me now, but my eyes are rolling into the back of my head.)

Speaking of which, lately, I’ve been slumped in work. Normally, I don’t have too much to do—but these last couple of weeks have really drained my brain. And to top that off, my sleep schedule is only getting worse, so if you’ve seen me around recently, I am terribly sorry because probably look like a zombie. I am definitely mumbling and not filtering myself, and let’s just say that it’s not the sweetest things that are coming out of my mouth. So this is a public apology.

Update: I think I am going to start something new on here that I’ve seen other people do, and it looks kind of fun. If you’ve ever watched Superfruit on YouTube—who are probably the most popular people who do this—I am going to announce my very own weekly obsessions. I’m not sure exactly when I am going to start them, or on what day I’ll do them, but I definitely think it’ll be fun to talk a lot little about the Thing I’m Currently Obsessing Over, which is obviously Christmas right now. And Milo Ventimiglia (but who wouldn’t be?)

I’m going to end this on a high note with two pictures of the beautiful man himself, back when he was Jess Mariano in Gilmore Girls, and again recently in an interview for his role of Jack Pearson in This Is Us. He aged wonderfully, don’t you think? And I don’t even like mustaches, yet he is still somehow both hot and adorable at the same time. I don’t know how he does it!

PS. I’ll post a picture of my Christmas tree and the front of the house later on/tomorrow. Happy Friday!

PPS. If you have yet to watch either Gilmore Girls or This Is Us, please do it. I love talking to people about them. (They’re both amazing!) (All of Gilmore Girls is on Netflix.) (And you can catch the first half of the first season of This Is Us on Hulu.) (Do you love my shameless ads even though they’re not paying me?) (@Netflix and Hulu, pay me.)
