Sunset at the Marina

I took this photo last Friday night. It was so hard to get a nice photo because my phone was not staying in focus for the life of it, but I really loved this picture and the scene in it.

Jeanette, her mom, Jen, and her sister, Emily, invited me to go to the Marina with them to go crabbing. I, personally, don’t like to join in those festivities, so I came for the laughs. We also met up with Alyssa and Jonny, who we’ve known for a very long time. Alyssa and I have known each other since elementary school, and we all met Jonny in middle school.

It was generally a really good time, until security came around to check everybody’s buckets of crabs. Jeanette’s family likes to just catch them and put them back, but these guards were hard asses and told Jen that whatever is put into a container is considered for keeps. In my opinion, that was a stupid rule, but whatever. We put them back.

Besides that, it was a beautiful night to get out of the house. I enjoyed my time with friends that I don’t see often, so it was a good time in my book.

Prompt: Picture day—Post a picture and talk about it.
