Top Ten Favorite TV Shows

Like most other millennials out there, I am an avid viewer of television. Also like many other millennials, I’ve watched a good amount of Netflix, so I think that I’ve seen all the best shows out there. Okay, so maybe I know that I haven’t watched the best, but I’ve definitely watched some that were so good, that I’ve went back and watched them again—multiple times, even. After thinking about my top favorite shows ever, this is what I’ve come up with.

Expectations vs. Reality

When I was sixteen, I honestly thought that I had my whole life planned out. I’d go all the way through grad school for psychology, fall in love at some point, graduate cum laude, get a great job as a family therapist, get married, have four or five kids, maybe publish a couple fictitious YA novels, have a house built from the ground up, and live happily ever after. That was the plan, and I was sure, at the age of sixteen, that it would come true for me.

Mad As A Hatter

As crazy as it seems, the last time I flew into a rage was the other night. I made a horrible mistake, and I let my emotions get to the best of me. Looking back at it, I looked ridiculous. I listen to music almost constantly throughout my work days, when I get ready every morning, and at random times throughout my days. Basically, the only times I’m not listening to music are when I’m writing, watching TV, or sleeping. That’s about it.

The Writing Room

In reality, my ideal space to write is anywhere that has a flat surface, and allows me to clear my head. I don’t even really need much to be able to write anywhere; I just need some peace and quiet. You know, so I can hear the little voice in my head telling me what to write.

Get In, Loser; We’re Going Shopping

In case you don’t keep count, we have twenty-one days left until Christmas. That’s right; everyone has three weeks left to take care of everything they need to before the most anticipated holiday of the year arrives. (Can you believe that? 2017, hands down, has been the shortest year of my life!) You know, I […]

Well That Escalated Quickly

I’m going to need you to give me some space. No, really; I can’t have you all up in my face, hanging all over me. And I know that must either make me seem like such a weirdo or just plain obnoxious, but I feel like people just don’t understand personal space—physically, mentally, emotionally.
