I don’t know what to write about.
Read MoreYou grew up seeing skin and bone in the spotlight. Girls plastered on every page of every magazine you skim through in the grocery store: tight faces, delicate fingers, visible clavicles, and protruding hips. You see it on every channel on the television, in music videos, in the movies, everywhere. This is what made you realize that this is what beautiful looked like to the rest of the world.
Read MoreI wish I was a real artist; I suck at putting things in a way that stirs heavy emotions in people. I’ve tried time and time again, but what comes out of me is complete gumbo.

Read MoreCompromise—it’s something that we all must deal with in our daily lives. It’s unavoidable, really; it’s one of the few things that you need to be ready to discuss in any kind of relationship. And if you are used to getting your way, and having things handed to you all the time, learning about compromise for the first time is like one huge rude awakening.
Read MoreWant to hear something that sounds unbelievable? I’ve been listening to Taylor Swift’s music for half of my life. Half. Of . My. Life. Eleven years. I don’t know about you, but to me, that sounds insane.
Read MoreIn reality, my ideal space to write is anywhere that has a flat surface, and allows me to clear my head. I don’t even really need much to be able to write anywhere; I just need some peace and quiet. You know, so I can hear the little voice in my head telling me what to write.
